Techno Times Two!

June 23, 2015.

This week's new font release is "Eridanus." Named after the constellation, Eridanus is a sci-fi space font that's bold and wide to give it a heavy look while at the same time looking sleek. If you have the space needed to use this font, it's perfect for an ultra-modern look (there are also two extra-consended version). The font includes twenty (20) versions, each with an extended Latin character set, and a number of the letters have alternate forms between the upper and lower cases.

Eridnaus
The updated font this week is version 3.0 of "Aetherfox." Inspired by an online name used by one of my brothers waaaaaaayyyy back in the day, Aetherfox is a stand-out sci-fi font with a unique character set. Version 3.0 recasts the entire font with smoother, cleaner edges for better quality and a number of redesigned letters. Kerning has been added and the extended character set has been basically created from scratch. Version 3 expands the number of variations to (11) versions.

Sky Marshal and the Strategic Defense Font!

June 16, 2015.

The new font release for this week is a bleeding-edge sci-fi font. "Sky Marshal" is an extremly sleek futuristic font that looks best using the italicized versions. With ergonomically pleasing curves, thin horizontal strokes and small cut-away sections, Sky Marshal nicely brings elegance and science fiction together. The font family includes thirteen (13) versions, each with an extended Latin character set. Also, many of the letters have an alternate form between the upper and lower cases.

This week's updated font is version 2.0 of what I've always felt was a somewhat underrated font, "SDF." SDF stands for "Strategic Defense Font" to reflect a design that's perfect for the military organizations of the future. Version 2.0 re-tools the entire font with better quality contours and vast improvements to the extended character set. Version 2 also adds kerning to the font family. On top of that, the family has been extended to include an unbelievable twenty-six (26) versions!

The Quick and the Steady!

June 9, 2015.

This week's new release is a tall, rather slim sciience fiction font, "Speedwagon." Speedwagon has a nice hint of retro to it with its rounded corners, and as its name suggests it was inspired by a number of promo posters printed out for rock band concerts in the late 70's and early 80's. Speedwagon includes sixteen (16) versions, each with an extended Latin character set. And to give the approximation of captial letters, the upper case letters are scaled larger than the lower case.

Speedwagon

Speedwagon

And the updated font this week is version 3.0 of "Power Lord." This version's biggest change to the action-oriented title font is a complete redesign of all of the upper case letters to distinguish them from the lower case ones when using the font for multi-word titles. In addition, kerning pairs have been added to the font family and the spacing has been updated. With a few new versions added, there are now sixteen (16) versions of the font within the family.

Three Minor Font Updates

June 4, 2015.

The first update is is Version 1.1 of Discotechia. This version corrects some kerning as well as the off-kilter "A" that was not italicized enough to fit with the rest of the characters.

Discotechia
The second update is Version 1.1 of Gentleman Caller. The spacing between the words was far too wide and this version narrows the spacing better.

Gentleman Caller

The third update is Version 1.1 of Team America. The letter spacing of this font family was too tight, which made it difficult to use at smaller point sizes. Version 1.1 fixes this with increased spacing.

The Bold and the Bold!

May 29, 2015.

This week's new release is, surprise surprise, NOT a sci-fi font. "Opus Mundi" is a big, bold cartoonish font for when you need to be serious about not being serious! The font family includes nineteen (19) versions of the font for a wide array of looks and effects, though they're all beautifully bold. Each version includes an extended Latin character set that includes accents and the Euro. In addition, the upper case letters are scaled larger to give the approximation of captial letters.

Opus Mundi
Opus Mundi
This week's updated font is another bold one. "Bummer" version 2.0 is a recasting of Verison 1.0 to such an extent that it might as well be a new font!. Version 1 was just plain ugly in its proportions and uniformity. Version 2 now tunrs Bummer into a cohesive, attractive looking font family. There are now sixteen (16) versions of the font within the family, my favorite being the Laser Italic version. Also, a number of letters have an alternate form between the upper and lower cases.

A new title font and a retro sci-fi update!

May 21, 2015.

This week's new release is a wide display font, "Phoenicia." Phoenicia is a strong looking font that helps invoke a sense of power and discipline, and it's structure makes it an all-around workhorse of a title font. The font family includes nineteen (19) versions of the font for different looks (with two condensed versions to make the font a little less wide). Each version includes an extended Latin character set plus several of letters have alternate forms between the upper and lower cases.

Phoenicia

And this week's updated font is a major league facelift for one of my earlier sci-fi fonts, "Universal Jack." Version 3 of Universal Jack reboots the entire foundation of the font with a lot of the chatacters recreated from scratch. Not only is this version better looking, but the extended character set has been vastly improved. There are now seventeen (17) versions of the font within the family and each letter has an alternate form between the upper and lower cases.

Put the two together for a super police car!

May 13, 2015.

This week's new font is "Dekaranger" and is based on the logo of "Power Rangers S.P.D." Actually, it's just based on the "SPD" part of the logo - did you know that it stood for Space Patrol Delta? And that in Korea the Power Rangers are called Dekarangers? A straight forward sci-fi font, Dekaranger is bold and legible. There are twenty-three (23) versions of the font for different looks and effects (such as the Laser version shown below). The fonts include an extended Latin character set and several of the letters have alternate forms between the upper and lower cases.

Dekaranger

This week's updated font is a complete rebuild of another one of my oldest and more popular fonts over the years, "911 Porscha." Version 3 of the font has cleaner, straighter lines and retools the letter-set for greater consistency and uniformity. The spacing has been modified for greater ease of reading at smaller point sizes and the extended character set has been greatly improved. 911 Porscha now includes kerning pairs plus a few new versions of the font have been added for a total of sixteen (16).

Yesterday and Tomorrow Styles!

May 5, 2015.

This week's font release is a new title font, "Union Gray." Union Gray is a bold, all-purpose display font with a touch of elegance that can be suitable for any number of different themes. Union Gray includes twenty (20) different variations for different looks and effects. Each version of the font also includes an extended Latin character set (including accents and the Euro). In addition, the uppercase letters are larger than the lower case ones to give the look of capitalization.

This week's updated font is a recasting of another one of my personal favorites, "Free Agent." Version 2 optimizes the two sub-families in the Free Agent family, the "regular" versions and the "bold" versions. The font now has better uniformity, spacing and extended characters. There are several new versions to bring the total to twenty (20) in the ZIP file. In addition, Free Agent now supports kerning so that the letters fit together the way they should!

Sci-Fi and Cars!

April 28, 2015.

This week's new font release is a fresh science fiction themed font. "Livewired" leaps right out of the future and, with a few tweaks to the letter set, differentiates itself from other similar sci-fi fonts. Livewired comes with a staggering twenty-three (23) different versions and variations of the font to fit in any space with different effects. The font family includes an extended Latin character set (including accents and the Euro) and many of the upper and lower case letters have alternate forms.

Livewired

This week's updated font is a complete recreation of one my earlier fonts that, in retrospect, never looked as good as I thought it did. So I'm hoping version 3.0 of "Usuzi" fixes that and makes it look the way it always should have. In addition to re-doing every character in the font, version 3 has an extended character set, better spacing and complete kerning pairs. And with a bunch of new variations, Usuzi now comes with sixteen (16) versions for all kinds of different looks!

Sci-Fi New, Sci-Fi Old

April 21, 2015.

The new font release for this week is "Alpha Men." Alpha Men is a thin and sleek science fiction font with ergonomic curves for a clean, futuristic look. There are seventeen (17) different variations of the font in the ZIP file, including bolder and more condensed versions for smaller spaces. Each version includes an extended Latin character set (including accents and the Euro) and many of the upper and lower case letters have alternate forms.

Alpha Men

This week's updated font is a complete recreation from top to bottom of one of my earliest font families, "Concielian." While the older versions looked okay from the "outside," inside a font editor one could see just how poorly created the font was. Version 3.0 transfoms Concielian into much more of a quality font. Better spacing, correct and uniform curves, improved extended characters - all while keeping completley true to the original font's design. And now there's non-italic and semi-italic versions! And not only is Concielian updated, but so are two of its sister font families, Concielian Break and Concielian Jet (note: Concielian Alpha has not been updated and probably won't be).

Kerning Updates!

April 17, 2015.

I've updated the following five (5) font families to include kerning (or better kerning in the case of Gemina). I also tweaked the letter and word spacings and added semi-italic versions to each of the families (or a super-italic version in the case of Subadai Baan). Simply clink on any of the images of the font's name below to download the updated font!

Dukes and Aces!

April 14, 2015.

This week's new font release is "New York Escape." New York Escape is a faithful reproduction of the type featured on one of the lesser-used posters to advertise the cult-classic film "Escape From New York." The font itself is "digital" or "LED" in theme and has a nice retro sci-fi feel to it. There are sixteen (16) different versions and variations of the font in the ZIP file. In addition, each version includes an extended Latin character set (including accents and the Euro).

New York Escape
New York Escape
This week's updated font is a re-casting of one of my personal favorites, the sci-fi themed "Wildcard." This was another case of only trying to add a few corrections and instead ending up with re-doing the entire font. Version 3 of Wildcard has additonal characters, better spacing, kerning, cleaned-up lines and proportions and improvements to a number of the characters. Plus, there are four new versions of the font for a total of sixteen (16) within the ZIP file.

Two Minor Font Updates

April 9, 2015.

The first update is to the Emissary font family. Version 1.1 has wider letting spacing for better use at smaller point sizes and has the "U" and "W" chaacters swithced around between the upper and lower cases.

Emissary
The second update corrects and error in the "F" characters across the entire Sea-Dog font family.

Space Sailors and Double Agents!

April 7, 2015.

This week's new font release is "Neo-Navy." A decidely "lighter" sci-fi font than my norm, Neo-Navy has emphasized geometric angles and strokes for a crisp and legible alphabet that instantly invokes the space-faring feel of the future. Neo-Navy includes an extended Latin character set with accents and the Euro, plus the font family includes thirteen (13) different versions (including two bold versions for projects needing something of a heavier look). In addition, many of the letters have alternate forms between the upper and lower cases.

Neo-Navy

This week's updated font is a substantial overhaul of "Spy Agency." What started out as an update to only add kerning turned into something more when I realized there were a fair amount of inconsistencies and errors among the font's characters. So Version 3, in addition to now supporting kerning, also has cleaned up edges, improved letters and better spacing. There are also several new versions for a total of twenty (20) within the font family. Spy Agency has been updated mutliple times over the years, and I'm hoping that with Version 3 it's finally "right."

Two Minor Font Updates

April 3, 2015.

The first update is to the Terran font family. The "M" characters just seemed too "thick" next to the other letters so Version 1.1 corrects this by making the "M's" a bit skinnier. Version 1.1 also tweaks the letter and word spacing.

Terran
The second update is to the Skirmisher font family. Skirmisher already had a number of kerning pairs but in playing around with the font I saw that there were a number of pairs I had missed. Version 1.1 now includes those additional kerning pairs. Version 1.1 also adds a new "Semi-Italic" version to the font family.

A new font and another old one made new again!

March 28, 2015.

This week's new font release is "Future Forces." Future Forces is a clean, highly legible, all-caps typeface for almost anything. Useful for anyy number of themes, Future Forces can be a go-to title display font for any point sizes. The font includes an extended Latin character set with accents and the Euro and the font family includes seventeen (17) different versions - be sure to check out the wider-spaced "Title" version! In addition, a number of the letters have alternate forms between the upper and lower cases.

Future Forces

The updated font is a complete revamping of Sea-Dog - "Sea-Dog 2015!" Version 2 of this font was made 14 years ago, and man did it have some horrible looking characters - the "B"s were atrocious! Version three of Sea-Dog cleans up a lot of the characters, uses consistent strokes, adds kerning and makes the overall typeface much smoother looking and legible. There are also several new versions for a total of sixteen (16) within the font family.

April 9, 2015 Update - version 3.1 fixes an error on the F characters.

Font updates - better word spacing!

March 24, 2015 -The letter spacing with a number of my font families were too "crowded" and not spaced far enough apart for smaller point sizes. These versions of the following five fonts corrects this.

Drive, From BOND With Love, Gypsy Killer, Modi Thorson, and Skyhawk

A new dingbat and a font overhaul update!

March 19, 2015.

This week's new font is my first dinbat in a long time. "Whovian" is a dingbats font for every die-hard Dr. Who fan! Whovian includes over 50 Dr. Who dings including the TARDIS, Time Lords, Daleks, logos, Doctor silhouettes, aliens and a number of other related dinbats. A number of glyphs have a mirroed counterpart between the upper and lower cases. Use of a character map program will be helpful in using this font. This font is for personal entertainment uses only and that all Dr. Who characters, logos and related images are owned by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).

Whovian

The updated font is a full overhaul of another of my more popular fonts over the years, "Dodger." Version 3 is a complete re-casting of the Dodger font for better curves, lines, spacing, sizing and consistency is overall a much improved font. Dodger now sports kerning and an extended Latin character set that supports accents and the Euro. With the addition of several new versions, Dodger now includes fifteen (15) variations within the font family.

Geo-Bats Font Update

March 14, 2015 - Version 1.1 of the Geo-Bats dingabt font fixes an issue where one of the USA glyphs was too narrow and looked "scrunched." This version also generally improves spacing between the glyphs.

One new, one update!

March 7, 2015.

This week's new font release is "Discotechia." Inspired by the movie logo and posters for the disco-classic "Saturday Night Fever," Discotechia is a fun, lighter weight font with a nice techno feel of years gone by. Discotechia includes an extended Latin character set with accents and the Euro. The font family includes fourteen (14) different versions for additional flexibility. In addition, a number of the letters have alternate forms between the upper and lower cases.

The updated font is a re-casting of my "Rogue Hero" font made years ago for fans of everyone's favorite 'Merc with a Mouth'! Version 2 now has kerning and a full Latin character set that supports accents and the Euro. As with other recent updates to my older fonts, this is a complete overhaul that now gives the font a cleaner and consistent look between the characters and is otherwise greatly improved. There are also several new versions for a grand total of twenty-two (22) within the font family.

The Young and the Old!

February 27, 2015 - As I try to update more of my older fonts, I hope to continue releasing new fonts along with updated ones.

The new font release is "Drive." Inspired by the logo for Ride snowboards, Drive is a wicked looking sci-fi font that's wide and bold. The font is a bit tricky to use for smaller text items, but great for titles and short sub-titles. Drive comes with a wide array of nineteen (19) different variations, each with an extended Latin character set with accents and the Euro. In addition, many of the letters have alternate forms between the upper and lower cases.

Drive
Drive
The updated font is a full remake of Postmaster. This is the first time I've ever updated Postmaster, and even I was surprised at how bad and incomplete it was. Version 2 now has a full Latin character set and supports accents and the Euros. And every letter, number and punctuation mark has been overhauled to be cleaner, consistent and greatly improved. Postmaster now also includes kerning and there are nine (9) versions of the font, including a number of brand new versions.

Ghost Clan Font Update

February 20, 2015 - Version 1.1 of Ghost Clan has wider spacing between the letters. As the font was meant to be legible at smaller point sizes, I realized Verion 1.0's letters where way too close together to be readable. This version should correct that nicely.

Something Old and... Something Old!

February 18, 2015 - This week brings the re-release of not one, but two updated font families!

The first updated font is one of Iconian's most popular fonts ever, "Gunship." This may be Version 5 of the font, but this is the first version to be truly re-mastered since it's debut about 18 years ago! Gunship has now been rebuilt with better letter consistency, spacing, kerning and addiional characters. That and there are a number of new variations for a grand total of twenty-three (23) versions! The extended Latin chatacter set is even more complete and now includes the Euro.

Gunship

The second updated font is one of my personal favorites, "Tele-Marines." This is a complete overhaul of the entire font. Version 3 of Tele-Marines has better chatacter quality, better proportions, better spacing, better everything! A number of the letters have been reshaped in the lower case, but the upper case retains a lot of the original shapes of certain letters. Plus the font now includes kerning! The font family now has fifteen (15) variations, each with an extended Latin chatacter set!

Something old, something new!

February 10, 2015 - Another "Something Old, Something New!"

First up is Iconian's latest sci-fi adventure font, "Gunner Storm." Gunner Sotrm has sharp geometirc angles and cuts and some unusual letter forms to make for a great all-around science fiction font that remains extremely legible. The font family also comes with seventeen (17) different versions and variations, each with an extended Latin character set with accents and the Euro. In addition, the upper case letters are scaled larger to give the approximation of captial letters.

The updated font is a re-casting of one my earliest fonts ever released. "Battlefield" has been updated before, but this Version 4 of the font completely overhauls the prior versions to rebuild the letters with better consistency, include numerous corrections and otherwise make a bunch of improvements. Plus the font now includes kerning! There are nineteen (19) versions of the font, including a number of brand new versions, and each has an extended Latin chatacter set.

Something old, something new!

February 3, 2015 - The first "Something Old, Something New" of 2015!

First, the new font - "EAST-west" is a dual-display font to bring the world closer together. The upper case letters are a faux-Cyrillic design while the lower case letters have a Latin design. Both the Latin and Cyrillic-like characters have a consistent look and feel across the enitre character set so that you can intermingle the letters and it's all still the same basic design. EAST-west comes with seventeen (17) different versions in the font family, each with an extended Latin character set.

The "old" one" is version 2 of "411 Blaster"! 4114 Blaster is a cutting edge sci-fi font with a number of unique characters to make it look "not of this world." This is a complete re-casting of the font from top to bottom. Version 2 of the font has better chatacter quality, proportions, spacing and greater consistency. Plus the font now includes kerning! 4114 Blaster has an extended Latin chatacter set and there are a bunch of new versions for a grand total of twenty-three (23)!

Yep, another Two'fer Tuesday!

January 27, 2015 - This week's Two'fer Tuesday consists of a new sci-fi stencil font and a comic book dialogue/lettering font.

"Viking Squad" nicely combines the military and sci-fi themes together into one cool looking futuristic stencil font. When you need a stencil font that has a more cutting-edge look, then Viking Squad fits that bill perfectly. The family includes a wide-ranging twenty (20) versions for different weights and effects, and each font comes with an extended Latin character set. In addition, all of the letters vary between their upper and lower cases to mix and match as you like.

Viking Squad

Viking Squad
"Buddy Champion" is a stylish cartoon/comic book lettering font that's a bit bolder and heavier than a lot of other dialogue fonts. Even still, it's design is classic comic book and it remains very legible at smaller point sizes. In addition, many of the letters have alternate forms between the upper and lower cases to help create the feel that your dialogue is truly handwritten. The font family includes sixteen (16) and each version has an extended Latin character set as well.

One New, One Updated!

January 21, 2014 - Here's a brand new font and an improvement to an existing one!

Watch out, don't cut yourself! This week's new font is "Hollow Point," a sleek and sharp typeface with vertical and horizontal lines that taper into points. A modern-looking display face, the font's letters have been designed in lower-case format. The font family includes a selection of eleven (11) different variations for different weights, looks and effects. Plus each version has an extended Latin character set that includes accents and the Euro.

The font update is for the Outrider family. The previous version had spacing that was too tight between the letters making it hard to read at medium to smaller point sizes. This version of Outrider corrects this for each of the versions in the family.

The first Two'fer Tuesday of 2015!

January 13, 2015 - This week's Two'fer Tuesday consists of two fonts I made a few years ago but just never got around to releasing.

The first is "Hong Kong Hustle," a recreation of the title logo for the cult classic film Kung Fu Hustle. Hong Kong Hustle is a modern looking font, but with several of the characters shortened with underscores, the typeface invokes a Far East feel. The family includes seventeen (17) versions and each comes with an extended Latin character set. In addition, many of the letters vary between the upper and lower cases, with most of the underscored lower case letters having upper case equivalents without the underscore.

  Hong Kong Hustle

Hong Kong Hustle
Yabba dabba doo and Dino too!!! The second font is "Quarrystone." Coming right out of the Stone Age, Quarrystone is a rock-themed typeface that is cracked, distressed and eroded. Roughly hewn and broken, the font includes a true capital and lower case letterset. The font family also boasts an extended Latin character set that includes accents and the Euro. Finally, the font family comes with twelve (12) versions for different widths and effects (the rotalic version being my favorite).

Font updates - bold version corrections!

January 10, 2014 - I realized that a number of my font packages had mistakes in their bold versions, such as the apostrophe and quotation marks not being aligned right with the rest of the letters. These versions of the following fonts correct this.

Airstrike, Alexis, Alien League, Butch & Sundance, Earthrealm, Eldebaran, Ferret Face, Frank-N-Plank, Global Dynamics, In-House Edition, Metal Storm, Modi Thorson, Nextwave, Northstar, Oceanic Drift, Oh Mighty Isis!, Quark Storm, Singapore Sling, Space Ranger, Texas Ranger, United Planets and Whiskey Bravo Victor.

First new font of 2015!

January 6, 2015 - Iconian Fonts is now in its 17th year and here's the first new font release of 2015! "Eagle Strike" is a bold and dynamic sci-fi display font. Perfect for heavy type-logos, you can use Eagle Strike for any futuristic, ultra-modern or action-oriented projects and themes. To maximize the font's range and effects, the family includes twenty-five (yes, 25!) different variations. Eagle Strike has a lot of different letterforms between the upper and lower cases, plus each version includes an extended Latin character set with accents and the Euro.

He has Space FFFFEEEEEEVVVVVVVEEEEERRRRRRR!!!

December 20, 2014 - Modelled after an old typeface that was used for various sci-fi themes in the 70's and 80's, "Galactic Storm" is a bit of a retro-sci-fi font. The original typeface was used for such things like the old logo for Disney's Space Mountain attraction and packaging for Monogram model kits of spaceships. Galactic Storm has a true upper and lower case character set and has been tweaked to look a bit more up to date. The font family comes with eighteen (18) different variations, my personal favorites being the italicized ones. Plus each version includes an extended Latin character set.

Something old, something new!

December 9, 2014 - The last "Something Old, Something New" of 2014!

First, the new font - "Black Bishop" is a slick looking display font with many of the letters designed in a lower-case form. Black Bishop is fairly modern in design but with a very different flavor compared to many other modern-looking fonts. Also, many of the letters have alternate letter forms between the upper and lower cases to let you mix and match for just the right look for your title. The font family includes a huge selection of twenty-one (21) different versions for different looks and effects. Plus each version has an extended Latin character set.

Black Bishop

The "old" one" is version 2 of the second font I ever publicly released about fifteen years ago, Judge! First seen in 1999 on the old site "Fonts & Things," Judge is a super-ultra sci-fi font and version 2 completely overhauls the entire font for better quality, spacing and proportions. Plus the font now sports a complete Latin chatacter set which includes accents and the Euro. There are also a bunch of new versions of the font for a total of nine (9) in the font family. I guess now I should update the first font that Iconian ever released!

On Zephyr Winds!!

December 2, 2014 - "Oh Mighty Isis" is this week's new font release! It's style and look are actually more akin to ancient Greece than Egyptian, but I just like the name! Tall and thin, Oh Mighty Isis is useful for any project that harkens back to the distant past. The font includes fifteen (15) versions within the family, each version including a full Latin character set that includes accents and the Euro. In addition, the capital letters are larger than the lower case letters to allow for the look of "capitalization."

Fatty Tech!

November 15, 2014 - A little late but here's this week's new font release- "Virgin Hybrid!" Virgin Hybrid is a rounded fatty of a sci-fi/techno font, bold and black and thick. This is an italicized font, but one of the the nine (9) versions within the family is a "straight" one for needs that do not lend themselves to italics. Each version comes with a full Latin character set that includes accents and the Euro. Also, several of the lower case letters that have the raised vertical stroke have alternate letterforms in the upper case without the raise.

Future Soldier

November 6, 2014 - Now that the Halloween Fontfest has ended, here's a new techno/futuristic typeface modelled after the logo of several Tom Clancy books and video games, a superb author who we lost too soon. "Ghost Clan" is a tribute to Clancy named by combining "Ghost" from Ghost Recon" and "Clan" from the first syllable of his surname. Ghost Clan is clean and thin and very suitable for smaller point size titles. The font family includes fifteen (15) versions, each with an extended Latin character set.

Last font of the 4th Annual Blocktober Halloween Fontfest!

October 24, 2014 - This year's Blocktober Halloween Fontfest was a lot of fun for me this year, and hopefully one or two of the fonts caught your eye. To wrap up the Fontfest, here's what I can only describe as a serial killer font - "Psycho Butcher!" A menacing twist on the ransom note theme, Psycho Butcher's alphabet was pieced together so that the end result looked a bit scarier than other variations of the theme. And while the font only has one version, the upper and lower case letters all have alternate lettersforms so that you can can make your ransom note all the more random! The font also includes an extended Latin character set with accents and the Euro. Enjoy Halloween everyone!

The Halloween Fontfest starts to draw to a close.

October 21, 2013 - But not quite yet! Here's another two Halloween fonts for your viewing pleasure

The first is a Frankenstein inspired font - "Freakfinder!" Menacing in an almost cartoonish way, Freakfinder is tall and uneven with rough edges, just like everyone's favorite man-made monster! The family has thirteen (13) versions of the font (such as the "staggered" version shown in the black & white graphic below), each with an extended Latin character. In addition, the capital letters are larger than the lower case to allow for an approximation of capitalized letters.

The second is a font for the next zombie apocalypse! "Vicious Hunger" is diseased and festering, being consumed from within. Wear a hazmat suit when using this font! Vicious Hunger has an appropriate thirteen (13) versions in the font family for different weights and effects, each version also including an extended Latin character set with accents and the Euro. There may be another font squeezed in here so you might want to check back!

The Halloween Fontfest continues!

October 17, 2013 - Two days gone by, two more new Halloween fonts as the Blocktober Halloween Fontfest rolls on!

The first font is modelled after the title logo of the classic horror film The Body Snatchers. "Body Swipers" is an all-capitals Latin typeface that's been chewed up and diseased, meant to give you the chills! Body Swipers includes a total of twelve (12) different variations in the font family and each version has an extended Latin character set that includes accents and the Euro. In addition, the capital letters are larger than the lower case to allow for an approximation of capitalized letters.

Next up is "Marsh Thing." Marsh Thing is a faithful recreation and extrapolation into a font of the logo for DC's long-running "Swamp Thing" series. Covered and dripping in the ooze of the swamp, the font is perfect for any creature that rises from the deep. The font family comes with a staggering twenty (20) versions for various weights and effects. As usual, each version contains an extended Latin character set. And there's still more Halloween fonts to come!

The Halloween Fontfest continues!

October 15, 2013 - Two more brand new Halloween fonts as the Blocktober Halloween Fontfest continues!

First up, an eeringly creepy font akin to a blob. "Nobody's Home" doesn't seem to have much of a shape, as if the letters have been warmed up like butter in a microwave. But that's what gives the font its monstrous charm! Nobody's Home has twelve (12) different variations in the font family and each version also includes the extended Latin character set with accents. In addition, the capital letters are larger than the lower case to allow for an approximation of capitalized letters.

The second spooky font is "Stranger Danger." Lanky and shattered, don't step on a crack or you'll break your mother's back. A font you don't want to meet on a deserted road, Stranger Danger includes an appropriate thirteen (13) versions in the font family for different effects (such as the "Disheveled" version shown in the black & white graphic below). And as usual, each version contains an extended Latin character set. More to come this week, so keep checking back!

Evil and barbed like a dragon's forked tongue, Warlock's Ale is decidely wicked. Space: 2099

October 1, 2014 - Today's release is my latest futuristic sci-fi font, "Star Eagle." Clean and legible, with the font family's seventeen (17) versions for different looks and effects, Star Eagle can be an extremely versatile title/display font as well as a subtitle font. Also, many of the letters have alternate letter forms between the upper and lower cases, including a number of letters stylized to approximate a lower case look and feel. And as usual, Star Eagle comes with an extended Latin character set, accents and the Euro.

Blackagar Boltagon would be proud!

September 17, 2014 - Based on one of the more badass looking logos for Marvel Comics' classic superhero race the Inumans, "Inhumanity" is a super tall and narrow font with whispy curves and bold serifs. The font will work well for any number of fantasy related purposes including evil or horror themed projects. The font family includes seventeen (17) different versions for various looks and effects with each version including an expanded Latin character set with accents and the Euro. This is one franchise I'd love to see Marvel bring into their cinematic universe!
